Another Century for India: Why is it no one bragging about it?
India is a land of multi-culture, language, ethnicity, religion, region & amongst many unifying factors of such a diversified civilisation like ours, Cricket is one of the highest rated binding force. We always admire & imitate our cricketers – Be it Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Sunil Manohar Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Mohd. Azharuddin, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, M.S. Dhoni or Virat Kolhi (believe me the list is endless), so why is no one talking about another century for India?

Yes, I am not an economist so I may still not know something which they do but I may definitely ask – Why central & state government not reducing taxes to ease out the burden? With our farmer fraternity across Punjab, Haryana, Western UP & rest of India already on streets fighting for their survival, the ever-increasing fuel prices are bound to hit them hard & make their lives even miser.
Democracy is “Government of the people, by the people, for the people” is a slogan given by late President of USA, Abraham Lincoln, echoed by democracies world-over including ours, but is it really on-ground or just text books?
